So let's get a few things straight in terms of rules:

1. This board is R-rated!! Freedom of speech reigns. Hopefully things can stay on the right track, but obviously there needs to be some constraints. There will be warnings, then other steps from there how I see fit.

2. No attacking others. Teasing is one thing that I know PLENTY about, trust me, but I don't want worthless cat fights.

3. Have fun! This board is intended as way to vent your opinions and concerns. My intention is for people to be able to walk away relieved or educated about something.

4. No worthless spam threads. These will be locked immediately if deemed incorrect for the current forum, or if they are completely bullshit. The yay or nay will be decided by me.

5. More rules to be added as appropriate. This board is green and we don't need many rules to start off with.

People who signup just to spam their random ass prescription or personals web pages or crazy ass pages that are in Russian will have their accounts deleted IMMEDIATELY! I'm tired of this bullshit, and as some people may have noticed I cleaned some house on these dead end spam accounts. There's more to come too.

No it is, I just haven't deleted them out yet. I think these poker sites now have forum bots that go through all these boards setting up bogus accounts to spam their shit. They tiring my out though!! Damn, I swear I have to delete an account almost on a daily basis these days.

Is there anything you can do about it? Put up a filter or some such shit. There has to be an internet equivilent to a "no call list"

Yeah I know. If it's a bot, there may be a patch in the board code that blocks the bot from creating spam accounts, but if it's some grunt being paid by these fuckers to surf boards and create bogus accounts, there's really not much you can do about it. I could block the IP address, but I need them to post to score that IP.

A catch 22. That sucks. It should be illegal to advertise on websites that other people pay for! That is kind of like stealing. We get enough of that shit on major web sites with those f-ing pop-up ads. I hate those damn things. If I had a major website I would have a hard time inconvieniencing my patrons with pop-ups even if they do help pay the bills. What do you think.

All @yahoo.com usernames have now been banned due to huge inflow of bot created accounts. If you are a legitimate user with a yahoo address, send me an email and I'll set it up for you.
